Episode Summery

It was just another day at the office for the new guy on the station. Far from home, hating his job, and lacking in many of the comforts that he desired, our lowly accountants day was about to get turned on its head by some unexpected adventure. A sudden emergency at the station descends his world into chaos and he, and everyone around him, tries to make sense of what is happening around them. Runtime approximately 12 minutes. Story and original musical score by Jason Nitsch. Originally released in July 2021.

Character Profiles

Andrew Harper

Andrew was the new guy on the station, having just arrived a few weeks before. Originally from Earth, but having been raised and educated on the lunar colonies, Andy was no stranger to life in space. He earned his degree in accounting, with honors, and enlisted in the civilian arm of the Deep Space Colonial Marines in the records division. His first assignment is in deep space on a DSCM Station that he’s never heard of, and while he makes the best of it, he already misses home. While he was excited to serve such a grand organization with a purposeful mission, he was already beginning to wonder what he had really signed up for.

Sarah Hughes

Sarah Hughes was born to space-faring parents who were among the original settlers on the original Mars Colonists Outpost (MCO). She excelled at all things scientific, but found that she had no interest in the politics or ladder-climbing that the medical fields presented to her. After graduating from the Mars University Scholars program, she joined the civilian arm of the Deep Space Colonial Marines and has served in multiple capacities as an office manager, accountant, supply engineer, and project supervisor. Sarah is a people person and is friend to all whom she meets. She is also quite the gossip, and always has some insight into the goings-on around here…especially things that she probably shouldn’t know about.
